` ` A resolution is a formal statement of an issue or expression of an opinion that is put before an organization for discussion and debate by an individual, a committee, or group.

Resolutions are presented to the CNSA House of Delegates each year and, when adopted, become the basis for policies, priorities, and actions of CNSA. Resolutions should fall within the purposes and functions stated in substantive resolution deals with the basic principles and policies of the association, while a courtesy resolution gives recognition to an individual or group or a commemorative resolution highlights an event that is relative to nursing and/or health care. Please download the CNSA Resolutions Handbook for further details.
