I would like to thank everyone for voting for me in the past CNSA election in San Jose, CA. It was definitely a memorable convention, and I am very excited to be on the Board of Directors. Collectively as a board our voices are stronger; we will stand as a team and be an advocate for nursing students everywhere. My goal is to make this year a memorable one, I am looking forward to the COCR south meeting in February, it will be nice to get to know the chapter representatives in Southern California. It’s very exciting to be more involved in a professional nursing organization, I would encourage all who are interested in becoming more involved to do so, and our time in nursing school is short and goes by quickly. Getting involved is the key for professional growth, believe it or not one person can make a difference, we can’t do everything but we have to do something. If you choose not to get involved on a state or national level, at least get involved with your local chapters. Hope to see you all at the next meetings. |
